Our Mission
To inspire empathy for the voiceless in Pakistan, & to educate people on basic kindness and tolerance for society's voiceless residents. To provide safe sanctuary to animals in need and to humanely trap, neuter, release & vaccinate the street animals of Pakistan in order to control their population and in consequence, save their lives.

WHO WE ARE
The CDRS Benji Project came into being in January 2021 when our team received a large grant to take our animal welfare efforts to the next level.
Our team always did its best to alleviate the suffering of innocent animals on the streets, understanding how helpless animals are in our society.
With CDRS Benji, we started to help more and more street animals by providing them with rescue services, medical treatment and food.

WHAT WE DO
With the infusion of funds, we were able to set up much larger TNVR facilities, Pakistan’s first national animal ambulance fleet, and we were also able to support other fellow rescuers in every way possible who struggled every day to keep their good work going.
The grant lasted two years and helped us get launched and help over 40,000 animals while allowing the program to build a national profile and proven track record of effective animal welfare and rescue.

WHO WE HELP
After years of indepth experience in human welfare, disaster response and clean water projects; we had to focus on society's voiceless creatures that face abuse and cruelty daily due to lack of basic empathy and awareness.

Our work spans nationwide from Skardu to Islamabad, and from Lahore to Karachi - and everywhere in between.

Our nationwide fleet of ambulances operate in 5 key locations to ensure we can reach any animal in need at any time.
THE PROBLEM
Though the welfare of animals is a constant struggle in Pakistan, these are a few of the main problems we try to tackle on a daily basis with our 4 TNVR shelters in Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore & Skardu. We rescue the injured, save the orphaned and abused, and provide cost-effective TNVR as part of a community effort to not only humanely reduce the street dog population, but to also help people see that just a little food and kindness, can go a long way.
